In a first test with just one LM 4562 in ...I agree. In a first test with just one LM 4562 in an early position in a signal chain with 4x NE 5532 N made a big difference. I like the NE 5532, only this is 20 years later. So in direct comparison to contemporary sound standards, the NE 5532 sounds like the original but feels not like it did in it's best days. The LM4562 feels today like the NE 5532 did 20 years ago. Very musical, open, natural tonality, stage, localization and separation, punch, fine dynamics, articulation, hires.
